3. You could also easily make inexpensive organic laundry soap and save money in the process. It can be easily made at home using natural products.

4. If you have infants in your house, you could use natural ingredients like baking soda to remove urine stains from mattresses.

1.Homemade disinfectant wipes

Things needed

  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • A few drops tea -tree oil
  • A few drops eucalyptus essential oils
  • Lemon essential oil
  • Empty wipe container
  • 20 squares of cloth (you could use old t-shirts)

To do

  1. Add vinegar and three essential oils mentioned above to 1 cup of water and stir it well.
  2. Leave it aside for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Fold the cloth squares carefully and one-by-one place them in the wipes container.
  4. Pour the mixture over the wipes container for all the wipes to soak it.
  5. Wipes will be ready to pull out and use.

2. Homemade Dish-Washing Liquid

For your everyday dish cleaning, you can easily make a homemade dish-washing liquid with natural ingredients.

Things needed

  • 4 Medium Lemons
  • 4 Cups of water  (Divided into 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 cups)
  • 150 ml White Vinegar
  • 1 cup of Kosher Salt
  • Squirt Bottle

To do

  1. Cut lemons into small pieces making sure the seeds have been removed
  2. Heat the lemons with 1 1/2 cups of water in a saucepan till they start to boil on a medium flame.
  3. Once the lemons start to boil simmer for 20 mins while stirring frequently until water is reduced and the syrup and lemon are tender.
  4. Blend the syrup with lemons and 2 more cups of water on high speed until they are very smooth
  5. Strain the mixture back into the saucepan. Add Vinegar and salt. Stir well until they combine very well.
  6. Slow boil the mixture on low flame and cook for further 20 mins.
  7. Cool the mixture completely and stir occasionally to incorporate the salty crust that might form.
  8. Pour this mixture into the squirt bottle and use it to wash your utensils.

3. Homemade oven cleaner-

  • Half cup baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons of water.
  • White vinegar
