Safety Tips for Using Turmeric Mask

Nothing comes without a few precautions. Please keep the following points in mind while using a turmeric face mask.

  • Before you use the turmeric mask on your face, don’t forget to do the patch test to check if you’re allergic. Apply a bit of it on your arm to look out for any reactions. If there are no side effects, you are ready to use it on your face.
  • Making a face mask can be a messy task. Make sure to clean up before and after applying the mask.
  • Turmeric can also stain your skin and clothing. So, make sure that it does not come into contact with your clothes. You could wear old rugged cloths during the process.
  • Do not leave the mask on your face for more than half an hour as it can cause redness and irritation. In case of irritation, remove it immediately.
